This is a really attractive Civil War relic revolver.  It retains a totally untouched rich deep brown patina. The hammer rests frozen on a fired chamber with the one next to it also fired.  Of the four that are still loaded one still retains it's percussion cap.  There's little doubt that this pistol went down while in action. There's what appears to be a museum inventory number 1054 painted on the bottom of the frame. The 7 1/2" oct. barrel is stamped E. Whitney N.Haven on it's top flat and serial number 90 on the bottom flat. What's really nice about this relic pistol is that nobody's tried to clean it.
