A really beautiful early 19th century 3 piece Silver Tea Service.  It was made by Baldwin & Jones – Boston and inscribed "Boston Lt. Infantry to their late Commander Gedney King Esq. 1818".  All three pieces are inscribed.  The setting also comes with some paperwork showing a Boston monument erected to Commander King and details on him and his units being Commodore Perry's guard and escort on his May 9th,1814 visit to Boston.  Very historic and beautiful Silver Tes Service.
