This great musket was originally found in the Jenny  Wade house here in Gettyburg.  Later on it was put on display at the Soldier’s National Museum of the Civil War here in Gettysburg. The original plaque will come with the musket. The musket is an original Maryland Rev.War musket that was converted to percussion sometime before the Civil War. Please refer to "Battle Weapons of the American Revolution " by Geo.Newmann pg.138 also "American Military Shoulder Arms Vol.1 "by Geo. Moller pgs.114-115 for similar examples. This certainly is one of the most historic pieces I’ve ever put up for sale.  Having survived the American Revolution to fight again at the Battle of Gettysburg.
