This wonderful French & Indian War British Heavy Dragoon pistol has been in a private collection for the past 60 years.  It was originally purchased from Joe Kindig (papers included). The pistol's lock is signed Vernon and dated 1761. It has the Crown over GR with the broad arrow.  The 12" barrel has two British proof marks on it's top as well as two on it's tang.  The ramrod channel has the stock makers initials J.B and two proof marks. A well marked pistol in excellent condition .  These early British Dragoon pistols are rarely seen outside of museums.
