​This is the first one of these rare pistols I've had the opportunety to over for sale. It appears to be in it's original flintlock configuration . As you can see in the pictures, the pistol has matching roman numeral assembly numbers to include the lock main spring and the trigger guard. The .54 cal 10+" iron barrel exhibits a single P proof in a oval at the left breech area . The lock functions properly on both half and full cock. Also the ramrod appears to be original . Refer to Flayderman's guide 9th edition pg.344 for further information on this rare model. A very hard to find War of 1812 secondary martial pistol.
