These early Colt Pocket Navy Conversions  with loading gates are very hard to find. The few that have surfaced are all in the low serial range such as this one which is serial # 137. It's all matching with the exception of the correct unnumbered wedge.  The loading gate and the matching arbor pin are assembly # 115  which is correct. The 4 1/2" barrel has a pretty good bore and the action is smooth and crisp. The cylinder retains a nice stagecoach hold up scene and exhibits some minor factory blue in it's protected areas. The frame still retains some fading case colors. The grips are super retaining almost all of their factory finish with the exception of the high points at the bottom. A very appealing scarce pistol.
