This is a good looking early 3rd model U.S Martial Dragoon.  It’s early serial #10758 would make it one of the first 3rd models and places it in the first allotement of U.S pistols in this configuration.  Most of these early martial Dragoons saw service initially in the California Gold Fields. They would later be used threw out the West in pre Civil War Indian Fighting.  This particular pistol was mfg. in 1852 and is really crisp with nice sharp edges.  All the numbers match including the arbor pin.  The cyl. scene is very faint but that’s found on most of these early 3rds. as the cyl. dies were getting worn by this time this is proved out by the crispness of the serial number. The cartouches are visible on both grips and the military inspector initial ‘B’ is present on all the proper places.  A nice addition to any Colt or Western Collection.
