I just acquired this great Indian gun at the Denver show. It came out of a friends collection in New Mexico.  The carbine still has an original label on it stating that it was originally sold by "The Wright Trading Post" in Albuquerque,New Mexico. The Wright Trading Post was founded by Charles Wright in 1907 who died in 1937. A copy of the Trading Post's history will go with the carbine. The carbine still functions very well and the action is crisp. The stock has been well weathered and the tacks are squire shank brass. The bottom of the forestock shows wear from being carried across the saddle or horses neck. A good looking and totally authentic Indian Carbine with some pretty good provenance.
