I originally listed this great rapier with the belief that it may be of Pennsylvania heritage because of the presence of hearts on the hand guard .  Since then I found that the cipher on the silver hilt is that of Queen Charlotte Sophia wife of  King George III.   She was also England's first Queen of African ancestry. They married in 1762 and she is the grandmother of Queen Victoria . The 3 sided blade is 32 1/2" long with military engravings.  The silver hilt exhibits  Queen Charlotte Sophia's cipher and the silver hand guard has a couple of hearts. A really rare Rev.War sword that may have some association with the Queens Rangers
